As electronic music increases in popularity, fans will want to create music of their own. Just as Hendrix, Page, and Richards inspired millions to take up the guitar, Aphex Twin, deadmau5, Squarepusher, and Skrillex will drive the demand for synthesizers and music software.
Electric Telepathy aims to meet that demand by providing accessible, innovative electronic instruments for creative musicians.
Through computers and software, sounds that could never exist in nature are now possible. My goal is to package those complex sound systems into user friendly, yet expressive music software.
A musician that deeply understands their instrument will produce richer and more vibrant sound. This philosophy obliges Electric Telepathy to help electronic musicians understand synthesis so they can make the best music possible. That is why I created the learning synthesis series and strive to make our instruments intuitive and inviting.
Over the past few years I’ve had the opportunity to explore methods and algorithms for producing sound from code and to collaborate with others to design and implement new ideas in software. Through experimentation, new sound synthesis methods and instruments will be discovered and shared through Electric Telepathy.
